Unfortunately the B2100 between Wadhurst and Mark Cross is currently undergoing maintenance as South East Water install a new pipeline between their treatment works at Bewl Water and their drinking storage tanks at Wadhurst and Rotherfield.

Although the works are nearing an end, they are now working on the B2100 from Best Beech Hill towards Mark Cross, meaning that access to the treehouse is more difficult than usual.

Access is currently from the A267/Mark Cross Junction ONLY

If you are arriving from the A21 and you travel through the town of Wadhurst you will notice a ROAD CLOSED AHEAD sign on the Mayfield Lane side of the B2100. Please follow the diversion route up towards the A267 and turn left towards Mark Cross/Mayfield.

Once you reach Mark Cross, follow the signs towards Wadhurst on the B2100. There is a ROAD CLOSED AHEAD sign at the top of the road, however the road is only closed AFTER the entrance to the treehouse so please proceed along this route.
